inboxmcp is a hosted connector that lets your AI assistant work with your mailbox without copying mail to a new system. You add one address to your AI client, log in once, and your AI can read and manage your inbox in plain language.

Any provider that speaks IMAP and SMTP. mailbox.org, STRATO, IONOS, Posteo, Plesk-hosted mailboxes, Proton Mail (via Bridge), Fastmail, your own mail server. We do not require provider-specific OAuth.

Your mail stays on your own mailbox. We never copy it. The only data we store is what's strictly required to operate the service: your encrypted mailbox credentials, your audit log, and the OAuth tokens issued to your AI client. All of it lives in our own infrastructure in Frankfurt.

Your mailbox credentials are encrypted before they reach our disk. The component that talks to your inbox is the only one that can decrypt them, and only briefly while it works on your request. Nothing stays in the clear.

Free covers read-only access on a single mailbox. Premium (€2.99/mailbox/month or €29.99/mailbox/year) unlocks the write tools (drafts, moves, sends, flagging, deletion) with no cap on mailbox count. Business (€4.99/mailbox/month or €49.99/mailbox/year) adds a signed DPA, an exportable audit log, and a tax-compliant invoice for German-registered businesses (cross-border reverse-charge isn't supported yet).

Yes. No minimum term. Email us to have your account deleted today (self-service from the portal is coming). Credentials, audit logs and tokens are wiped immediately on deletion.

Yes. On the Business plan we provide a signed DPA / Auftragsverarbeitungs-Vertrag on request. Required if you're handling third-party email under GDPR.

inboxmcp itself doesn't keep your mail. But the AI client you connect to it (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) reads message content to do its job, and what happens to that data afterwards is governed by that vendor's terms, not ours. If your messages contain personal data of third parties, you remain the data controller under GDPR for what the AI vendor does with it. We strongly recommend talking to a data-protection specialist about your specific setup before connecting business mailboxes. What's compliant depends on the AI vendor, the data categories involved, and your own purpose of processing.

No. inboxmcp is a digital service that we begin providing immediately after payment, so the purchase is binding and no refund is possible once execution starts. You check a box at checkout that makes this explicit. You can cancel at any time to stop further billing, but the current billing period stays paid.

Under German consumer law (§356 (5) BGB) you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for digital services. But only as long as performance has not yet been fully provided. At checkout you expressly request that we begin providing the service immediately and acknowledge that doing so waives the right of withdrawal once the service has been fully delivered. Both consents are an explicit checkbox you tick before paying.
